‘The people walking in darkness have seen a great light’

The Annual Inter Denominational ' Walk in the Light" event takes place on Saturday 1st  November 2025 beginning at 7pm.

 It is a spiritual and community-focused twilight pilgrimage for peace and hope. The event involves walking to several city centre churches, reflecting on themes of remembrance, hope, and peace.

More information will be available on our Facebook page nearer the date and flyers will be available in the church in the coming days.

The walk will take approximately 1 hour starting at the Salvation Army Church on Carlisle Road via St. Columb’s Cathedral, First Derry Presbyterian, St. Augustine’s Church and finishing at St. Columba’s Church, Long Tower.
